KEEPING IN TOUCH

Francis Goodwin does a tremendous job keeping everyone up to date with news about our own choir – rehearsals, concerts, timings, social events etc.

He also circulates information about other musical events in the area that we hope will interest you.

If you are not receiving regular emails from Francis Goodwin, please email him and ask to be added to the mailing list!  His email address is francis.goodwin1@btinternet.com

We take your data privacy seriously and use Mailchimp to manage our database.  We hope you won’t want to use it, but if for any reason you want to stop hearing from us, there is an UNSUBSCRIBE button at the bottom of every email.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Subs are £75 this term – or £65 for new singers. It is easier and cheaper for us if you pay by online banking – don’t forget to use your initial and surname as a reference.

Our bank account details are as follows

  • Forest Row Choral Society
  • HSBC East Grinstead
  • Sort Code: 40 20 09
  • Account Number: 51259199

Please pay promptly at the beginning of each term – to save red faces!

If you don’t use online banking, then a cheque made out to Forest Row Choral Society should be given to Anne Brewer at a rehearsal as early in the term as possible.

Please help us by completing a Gift Aid form if you are a tax payer. This brings in important extra income for the choir. If you later become a non-taxpayer, don’t forget to tell us so that we can update HMRC. You can download the form HERE

A NEW ERA FOR FRCS

Autumn term begins on September 12th 2023 with our first rehearsal at Forest Row Primary School. Please note REHEARSALS WILL NOW RUN FROM 8PM TO 10PM.

Rodney has chosen a mix of ‘old and new’ music for our concert at St Swithun’s on November 18th. We will perform Faure Requiem in the first half (please bring scores if you have them) and a new composition, Voices For Reconciliation by Tony and Gaynor Sadler.

Our Christmas concert will take place at Holy Trinity, Forest Row on December 9th. We will sing part of Handel’s Messiah with a mix of carols and Christmas music.
